Farm Credit of North Florida receives valuable leadership from our Board of Directors. Our board has substantial business and agricultural experience which plays an important role in the oversight and planning of the organization.
Henry M. Frazee, Chairman

Committees: Audit, Compensation, Governance Industry
Experience: Timberland, Real Estate, Cattle
Mr. Frazee is a longtime resident of Alachua County, having been raised in Marion County. Frazee was managing partner of the BJ Bar Ranch, headquartered in Gainesville, for 35 years. He owns and manages commercial timberland, and is a retired managing partner of a cow-calf operation. Mr. Frazee is Trustee of several land holding and development companies and Co-manages a game preserve. Frazee has been active in several farming organizations, including the Florida Cattleman’s Association, the Florida Forestry Association, and the Alachua and Putnam County Cattleman’s Association. He serves on the AgFirst Farm Credit Bank Board in Columbia, SC.
Ron St. John, Vice Chairman

Experience: Dairy
Mr. St. John is a resident of Gilchrist County. He is Co-owner and manager of Alliance, Piedmont, Highbrighton and Barrington Dairies. St. John serves on the Board of Southeast Milk.
T. Richard Barber, Jr.

Committees: Audit Industry
Experience: Cattle, Peanuts
Mr. Barber is a lifetime resident of Marion County. He raises cattle, and produces watermelon and peanuts. In 1995 Barber was selected Sunbelt Farmer of the Year and in 2004 he was inducted into the Marion County Agricultural Hall of Fame and the Florida Agricultural Hall of Fame. He serves on the Florida Farm Bureau Peanut Advisory board, Marion County Florida Department of Agriculture Advisory Committee, Florida Department of Agriculture Seed Council, University of Florida's IFAS Regional Advisory Council, and is a member of Marion County’s Chamber of Commerce Agribusiness Committee, Cattlemen’s Association and Farm Bureau.
Shepherd E. Colledge

Experience: Real Estate
Mr. Colledge is a real estate developer. He serves on the Board of Bolles School in Jacksonville. Mr. Colledge was appointed to serve as a director on the board of Farm Credit of North Florida in 1990.
Roger W. Davis

Committees: Audit Industry
Experience: Reforestation, Cattle, Tobacco
Mr. Davis was born and raised in Alachua County; and has been a resident of Columbia County since 1978. He has had farming operations in Alachua, Columbia and Bradford Counties that include tobacco, cattle, and horses. He owns and operates a pine planting and reforestation service that includes herbicide applications. He is a member of the Alachua County Farm Bureau, Elks Club, and a past member of the National Tobacco Advisory Board, Florida Tobacco Growers Association Board of Directors, and Florida Tobacco Warehouse Association. Davis has a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Florida.
Joseph C. Joyce

Dr. Joyce is a Jacksonville, Florida native and executive associate vice president for agriculture and natural resources at the University of Florida/IFAS. He earned his B.S. and M.S. degrees from the University of Alabama and his Ph.D. from the University of Florida in 1982. He was appointed to serve as a director on the board of Farm Credit of North Florida in 2008. Joyce has held major leadership positions in professional organizations and has served in numerous leadership and governance roles at the University of Florida. Joyce was appointed by Governor Crist to the Environmental Regulation Commission in 2008. He is a retired Brigadier General, United States Army Reserves.
Douglas I. Moore

Experience: Dairy
Mr. Moore, is a long time resident of Duval County. Until 2004, he co-owned/operated M&M Dairy, which his grandfather started in 1924. At one time he also farmed over 800 acres of hay and corn silage in Putnam County. Currently he is owner of South Prong Plantation in Baker County where he manages wildlife and timber. Through his associations with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, Boy Scouts, and Baker County’s Cooperative Extension Service he educates others about natural resources and land stewardship, as well as, hosting tours, youth hunts, and camps. Moore is a Certified Hunt Master for the Fish and Wildlife Commission.
Lloyd Register

Committees: Compensation Industry
Experience: Dairy, Beef, Hay, Timber
Mr. Register is a resident of Baker County. He specializes in dairy herd replacement, has a beef cattle herd, and hay and timber operations. Mr. Register is a member of the Baker County Farm Bureau and Baker County’s Soil and Water District and serves on both boards.
Stanford Robertson

Committees: Compensation Industry
Experience: Potato
Mr. Robertson was raised in Florida and is a longtime resident of Flagler County, where he and other family members own and operate Robertson Brothers Farms. Robertson Farms operate potato farms in Bunnell and Okeechobee. He currently serves as a director on the Flagler County Soil and Water Conservation Board, is a member of the St. Johns Water Management District Agriculture Advisory Committee and is a member of the North Florida Growers Exchange Board of Directors. Mr. Robertson is a graduate of the University of Florida with a BA in Mathematics. After graduating, he taught school in Columbia County before returning to the family farm in Flagler County.
Hansel C. Ross

Committees: Governance Industry
Experience: Peanut, Timber, Cattle
Mr. Ross is a lifetime resident of Suwannee County. Working alongside his father and brother, he has lived, farmed and produced livestock all his life on the family farm his father established in 1918. Most of the farm has now been planted in pines. He sat on Suwannee County’s Board of County Commissioners for eight years and served two terms as President of the Florida Santa Gertrudis Association. Mr. Ross is a former member of the State of Florida Peanut Advisory Board, the Florida Agricultural Committee for North Florida, and the Agriculture Committee for the State Association of Florida Counties.
Arthur Sandlin

Committees: Executive Governance Industry
Experience: Peanut, Cattle
Mr. Sandlin is a lifetime resident of Levy County. He produces peanuts and raises beef cattle with his son. He serves on the Board of Directors of Perkins State Bank in Williston and formerly on the Florida Department of Agriculture State Peanut Advisory Council.
